Three routes, all the major resorts
The Tarentaise via the A43 and A430: Albertville and then Moûtiers open up the 3 Vallées — Courchevel, Méribel, Les Menuires, Val Thorens — then Bourg-Saint-Maurice serves Les Arcs and La Rosière, and the upper valley leads to Tignes and Val d'Isère. The Oisans via Grenoble: Alpe d'Huez and its 21 bends, and Les 2 Alpes, about 2 hours from Lyon. The Aravis via Annecy: La Clusaz and Le Grand-Bornand, family resorts about 2 hours away. In all cases, drop-off is at the residence or hotel, not at a coach station in the valley.
Winter Saturdays: plan ahead rather than suffer
On school holiday Saturdays, the Albertville-Moûtiers route is one of the busiest in France: several hours can be added to the journey. Our drivers know these black days — a very early departure is recommended, the pick-up time is calculated from your desired arrival time, and the fixed price does not change however long you spend in traffic.
